Island 22 Horse Trials – Dinner & Entertainment
Last years (2023) was a huge success even with one of the barbecues being temperamental. Chef Katherine Hepting did an amazing job on the food and the selection. No one went away hungry. And the entertainment, Outlaw & Lace had everyone up dancing the night away.
Good News!!!
Chef Katherine Hepting is BACK. Menu is being worked on and will be posted as soon as confirmed.
Outlaws & Lace are going to rock the night away with live music throughout the evening.

ADDITIONAL INFO
Tractors, bobcat & individuals will be working throughout the park starting Aug 12, 2024. Park will be closed to all competitors Aug. 18, 20204
Parking fees are not in effect until June 23rd
• $10 for trailers
• $5 for cars
Cross Country jumps are limited during off season. Please do not over jump and be aware of footing and fallen branches.
Rings: Stadium jumps in the front ring. Jumps donated by the Society.
DO NOT TOUCH THE POLES, JUMP CUPS AND WINGS IN THE STORAGE SHED AND HAY WAGONS. TAMPERING WITH THESE WILL RESULT IN ALL STADIUM JUMPS BEING REMOVED FOR PRACTICE USE.
Trailers must park in front parking lot. Please pick up any manure and hay from parking lot.
Reminder there is NO overnight camping allowed in the park without park rental. Contact Fraser Valley Regional District for details on renting the park.
Park Etiquette
We have a large community of riders and patrons alike with a wide variety of uses and skill levels. Please be considerate to others and follow these rules of the park.
Treatment of horses
The welfare and safety of horses at Island 22 Horse Park is paramount. Horses are to be handled with respect and consideration.
Anyone that witnesses or has reasonable grounds to believe that a horse is suffering or has suffered ABUSE, is obligated to report it. A copy of Equestrian Canada “Horse Welfare Code of Conduct” is available online.
Dogs (and Owners)
Dogs are to be kept on leash no longer than 6 feet and must be under the control of the handler. If the dog becomes aggressive or disruptive to horses or individuals; members of the Island 22 Society may ask you to remove the animal from the Equestrian Park.
Absolutely no horses are permitted on the dyke.
Please ride through the park to get to the warm-up and show arena.
Riding in the Park
Riders, Instructors, parents and volunteers must treat each other with consideration and respect.
The jumps in the front ring are donated to the Island 22 Equestrian Park Society, if a part of a jump has been broken, please advise the Island 22 Equestrian Park Society of the broken jump via email at island22patrons@gmail.com
The poles, jump wings, jump cups in the storage shed are not for public use. Tampering with these will result in all stadium jumps being removed for practice use.
Trailers must park in front parking lot. If paid parking is in effect, please pay at the gate house.
Please pick up all manure and hay from parking lot.
Vehicles, trailers and their contents are left on Island 22 Equestrian Park at the owner’s risk.
Arena Rules
Horses working on a circle stay to the inside of horses travelling on the rail.
Horses working on the diagonals, centre line, or quarter lines do not have precedence unless the rider has clearly stated their intentions by calling the direction that they travelling.
